Great American Seafood Cook-Off 2017 heats up Aug. 5 in N.O.

America's Best Seafood Chef will be crowned on Aug. 5 at the 14th annual Great American Seafood Cook-Off, a cooking competition in New Orleans that pits 12 U.S. chefs against one another in a timed, live cooking show.
The cook-off, which runs 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, takes place during the first day of the Louisiana Food Service and Hospitality Expo, where companies demonstrate and promote their products and services to restaurant owners and operators.
