David Mezz

Garden & Gun

David Mezz was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and joined Garden & Gun’s editorial team in 2008. Now deputy editor, he works on multiple aspects of the award-winning magazine’s coverage of the South, including features, food, music, travel, and sporting culture. He’s a graduate of Carleton College and attended the Missouri School of Journalism. An avid fisherman, he’s known for his surgical precision with a fillet knife. He lives in Charleston, South Carolina.
