Jason started cooking at an early age, always helping his mom in the kitchen during snow days vacations, and holidays. His continued passion for cooking eventually led him to attend Newbury College where he earned an Associates Degree in the Culinary Arts. Upon graduation, Jay worked with a Japanese Master Chef for years, gaining valuable experience and honing his skills.

Next, he went on to help open and become Sous Chef at Michael Timothy’s restaurant, working alongside award winning Chef Michael Buckley. He then worked at The Bedford Village Inn, where he stayed for 8 years. After spending a few years as a Private Chef and Caterer, Jason joined Great New Hampshire Restaurant’s in 2012 and is now the Executive Chef of Copper Door restaurant in Bedford, NH.

Jason’s passion for his guests, fine food, the freshest ingredients, and classical culinary technique is personified in every dish he creates.
