On Friday, August 5, visiting chefs from the Great American Seafood Cook-Off will be guest chefs at Cafe Reconcile in New Orleans. Cafe Reconcile is a non-profit restaurant which serves as a training program for at-risk youth seeking to make positive changes in their lives and learn about a career in the restaurant and food service industry.
In addition to some Cafe Reconcile favorites, there will be two special entrees for the day prepared by the chefs, Louisiana shrimp and grits and butter crusted Louisiana drum with Louisiana crab, tomato and tarragon.
Cafe Reoncile is located at 1631 Oretha Castle Haley and is open for lunch Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. until 2:30.
